Our mission for Animal Insight is to inform the world that animals have sentience and why that matters. Although animals are now recognized to have thoughts, not many people recognize that they also perceive, or are aware and understand their surroundings. By recognizing animal intelligence and perception, we as people may begin to give animals the treatment that they deserve, regardless of their species. Animals are sentient beings and are fully capable of thinking for themselves, feeling, and perceiving the world. We hope our mission will stick with those who come across our site and inspire others to spread the word
